THE CHALLENGE
Bloomberg Law launched Bloomberg Law Answers, a groundbreaking generative AI tool designed to streamline legal research by providing instant, concise responses to legal queries directly within the Bloomberg Law platform. With the product already in market and an established campaign running, I was tasked with expanding the creative asset library to maintain campaign momentum and reach across multiple paid media channels.
THE OBJECTIVE
Jump into an active campaign mid-flight and create additional paid social assets that would:
- Align seamlessly with existing campaign creative and messaging
- Communicate the efficiency and innovation of Bloomberg Law Answers
- Drive awareness and trial among legal professionals
- Maintain visual and tonal consistency across all touchpoints
THE APPROACH
After reviewing the existing campaign assets and guidelines, I identified opportunities to create complementary social media carousel ads that would extend the campaign's reach on platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. The creative strategy emphasized:
Messaging:
- "Dig. Dig. Dig. Surface." headline that contrasts tedious manual research with the effortless experience of Bloomberg Law Answers
- "Hello effortless intel" positioning that emphasizes ease and intelligence
- Focus on the transformation from manual, time-consuming work to instant, accurate results
- Consistent closing message reinforcing the core benefit
Visual Identity:
- Clean, modern aesthetic featuring the signature teal gradient and neutral tones
- Abstract 3D elements (spheres, geometric shapes) that convey innovation and depth
- Bold typography with strategic use of the Bloomberg Law teal to highlight key product names
- Minimalist composition that feels premium and sophisticated
